Composite Material
Airplanes sometimes use composite materials made out of carbon fibres enclosed in epoxy, compared to wood, steel, or aluminum. Composite material is stronger for it's weight which upgrades fuel efficiency. The new Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 are made mostly out of composite material.
